All payments are non-refundable. In the event that the minimum number of passengers is not met and the tour does not run, all deposits will be fully refunded.

This departure is guaranteed only after 10 confirmed bookings. Do not make air reservations until this threshold has been met. This will be confirmed no later than April 2020. Eat Well, Travel Happy can help book all international flights when it is time.
Please note that by February 2nd 2018, it will be mandatory for every traveler to show proof of insurance (covering medical, accident, death) to the immigration authority at the airport or border crossing into Ecuador. This insurance must cover the traveler for their entire length of stay in the country.

Travel insurance is compulsory in order to participate on any of our trips. When travelling on a group trip, you will not be permitted to join the group until evidence of travel insurance has been sighted by your leader, who will take note of your insurance details. When selecting a travel insurance policy we require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. If you have credit card insurance we require proof of purchase of the trip (a receipt of credit card statement) with a credit card in your name. Contact your bank for details of their participating insurer, the level of coverage and emergency contact telephone number.

Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents act only in the capacity as an agent for the transportation companies including air, sea, land, hotels, or other forms of accommodation, restaurants, places of entertainment and other such services when reserved for its customers and as outlined in your personal itinerary.
In the event of Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents offering or selling a tour, cruise, package holiday reserved with a tour operator, Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents act only as agent for the tour operator. The tour operator will have made all arrangements with the suppliers of various travel services relating to your itinerary.
Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents shall not be responsible or liable to their customer(s) for any claims, loss or damages, or expenses arising out of injury, whether physical or mental, accidental, death or delay or inconvenience to the customer or any other person, or damage to luggage or other personal property from any cause whatsoever.
To the best of Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents’ knowledge and information, the description and information provided about the various services set out in the itinerary are accurate. However, Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents shall not be liable to the customer if any of the services provided by the suppliers or artists do not conform to such descriptions, living standards and practices at the destination and the standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.
GLUTEN FREE TRAVEL
Celiac, gluten free and allergy travellers: Please make sure to always discuss your restrictions before each meal and only continue if you feel comfortable. Our best effort has been made on your behalf to thoroughly research accommodations, flights, restaurants and all other travel components that can safely cater to your food restrictions and understand cross contamination. This includes but is not limited to multiple confirmed reviews, direct supplier contact as well as communication and notifications on your behalf. Human error does occur, however, with planning in advance and self advocating in destination, the risks can be managed. Be aware that although these have been confirmed to be capable and reliable options there is always the chance of change in ownership, change in management/staff and change in suppliers that may not be known at the time of booking. Always ask questions and enjoy your travel!
All arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the transportation companies, hotels or other forms of accommodation, restaurants, places of entertainment, the tour operator and other such travel services, if any, and accordingly maybe subject to charges and/or restrictions for any changes or cancellation.
You are responsible for reading the terms and conditions that accompany all your travel documents. We will provide you with written material (e.g. online supplier brochure) when you or your travel organizer requests this information – if it is available to Eat Well, Travel Happy – and we will explain the details of the services purchased. These suppliers are independent third parties over whom Eat Well, Travel Happy exercises no direct control.
You understand that you may be required to provide your credit card information to a supplier directly to confirm a reservation. If the charge is processed by the supplier, then the name of such supplier will appear on your credit card statement. All costs including fares, taxes, and surcharges are subject to change without notice until full payment is received by Eat Well, Travel Happy. Price increases are permitted unless booking is paid in full.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
Cancellation penalties for purchased travel services vary depending on the travel service provider. In many cases, the price of travel services is 100% non-refundable or cancellation carries stiff penalties. Travel service arrangements may not be changeable, or they may be changeable only upon payment of a fee that is determined by the travel service provider. The customer should consult the terms and conditions provided by Eat Well, Travel Happy and any other selected travel service providers before completing the purchase of travel services.
Your Receipt/Invoice may include charges from Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents for administration fees, which are non-refundable. Additional fees and/or restrictions may apply to reservation changes and/or cancellations.
TRAVEL HEALTH INFORMATION
For the most current worldwide health information, consult your family physician or visit the Travel Advice and Advisories page of the Government of Canada official website at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories. You'll find information on risk levels, safety and security, entry/exit requirements, health, laws and culture, natural disasters and climate, and assistance.
Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents offer you the option of purchasing travel insurance, including trip cancellation insurance and out of province health insurance, to insure you against the risks described in the applicable policy that may occur prior to, during or after your trip. It is recommended that each traveler purchase travel insurance.
There are different types of insurance packages available. The Premium Protection Plan travel insurance policy (available for travelers up to age 74) may only be purchased by the customer within 72 hours of purchasing the travel services to which the insurance relates. Coverage includes trip cancellation and trip interruption, emergency medical, baggage loss / damage / delay, and travel accident. These benefits provide coverage for accidents, injuries, unexpected illnesses, and other unforeseen events that occur during the policy period unless the event or situation causing your claim is specifically excluded in the section "what does this policy not cover?"
The Premium Protection Plan insurance will provide trip cancellation or trip interruption benefits, which will serve to protect your investment in case of unexpected and unforeseen events.
Other travel insurance policies can be purchased up to the day prior to departure but have additional limitations on their coverage and benefits.
To make an insurance claim it is your responsibility to contact the insurance carrier as soon as possible. Please contact Eat Well, Travel Happy or one of its Associate Agents if more information regarding travel insurance is required.
You acknowledge that you have been made aware of the availability of travel insurance coverage, including trip cancellation insurance and out of province health insurance, and you have either purchased or declined to purchase that insurance prior to completing the purchase of travel services.
Final travel documents will not be released unless the Premium Protection Plan travel insurance policy has been purchased through Eat Well, Travel Happy or a release waiver has been signed.
When purchasing travel through Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents, you remain fully responsible for obtaining the correct documentation necessary for entry into your destination, intermediary point(s), and re-entry into Canada. You also understand that entry into any country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete and that Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents accept no responsibility for these decisions.
You also understand that your Canadian passport must have a validity of 6 months or longer than your intended travel time for international travel. (NOTE: If you are traveling on a passport that is not Canadian notify your Travel Consultant.)
You also confirm that the first, middle and last names of travelers provided to Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents are as they appear on your travel documents, passports, visas, and other government-issued identification. Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents will take no responsibility for errors due to the provision of incorrect information by the traveler.
RECONFIRMING FLIGHT TIMES AND CHECK-IN
It is your responsibility to confirm your flight departure times at least 24 hours prior to departure. Some airlines will have schedule changes and your flight times may differ to what is stated on your itinerary. We recommend that you reconfirm your onward and return flights at least 3 days prior to each journey. Eat Well, Travel Happy is not responsible for schedule changes.
All passengers are asked to check in at least 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights prior to the scheduled time of departure of their flight due to enhanced security measures. We recommend online check-in available with most airlines 24 hours prior to departure and for most cruises, at least 72 hours. Please note that all travelers must be present with their boarding documents, passport, and visas necessary for the destination. Any passenger arriving late for check-in will be denied boarding.
The customer must consult the terms and conditions of the applicable airline for restrictions on the number and weight of baggage on chartered and scheduled service. Additional baggage fees may apply based on the airline and class of service you have selected. Lost or damaged baggage is the responsibility of the airline, which may have limited liability. Eat Well, Travel Happy recommends the purchase of insurance for loss of, or damage to, baggage. In the event of damaged, lost or delayed baggage, please contact the applicable airline representative prior to leaving the airport. Failure to do so will invalidate your claim.
COLLECTING AND USING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents may, from time to time, collect personal information about you as result of your relationship with us. Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents may collect, use and disclose such personal information to determine your eligibility for and interest in products and services from Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents, its affiliates or carefully selected third party business partners. We may also use this information to establish, maintain, and manage your relationship with Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents and to provide you with ongoing services and for other uses as described herein. We may ask you for contact information including the telephone number you have provided in connection with these travel services. We may keep and use this information as well as disclose it to our affiliates and carefully selected third party business partners so that we may contact you for marketing purposes. As you do business Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents, we may monitor and/or record your telephone conversations with our customer service representatives to ensure service quality. Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents retain your personal information only as long as required for our reasonable business and/or legal needs.
ACCESSING PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WITHDRAWING CONSENT
Any person whose personal information is kept by Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents may access such personal information, request corrections to it, ask questions about it, or withdraw their consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents in writing at 1003-55 York Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5J 1R7.
If you would like to join our mailing list and be informed of seat sales, last minute vacations, and other promotional offers, we ask for your name, address, phone number, and email address. We use this information to communicate to you via email. For certain opt-in services, Eat Well, Travel Happy and its Associate Agents may collect profile information about you (e.g. hotel and car preferences, etc.), as well as demographic information (e.g. education level, etc.). This information will be used to communicate specific information to you based on the profile and demographic information you provide.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, VISUAL PORTRAYALS OF PASSENGERS
Eat Well, Travel Happy has the exclusive right to include photographic, video, and other visual portrayals of passengers in any pictorial medium of any nature whatsoever for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity, or otherwise, without compensation to the passenger. All rights, title, and interest therein (including all worldwide copyrights therein) shall be Eat Well, Travel Happy sole property, free from any claims by the passenger or any person deriving any rights or interest from the passenger.
